It was probably around 1998 or so I started having these reoccurring dreams that oil prices were going to arise greatly. This reoccurring dream was how I got started in this. At the time I knew nothing about investing and had a little to spend so I passed it over as something that I couldn’t do anything about. The second thing happened with Kmart, I just kept having these reoccurring dreams where I would see the name Kmart. I wasn’t given much else I just assumed that Kmart was going places.

Well anyway a few years after that Kmart went bankrupt and I was broken up about it thinking that something was wrong and I was hearing incorrectly. During those times is when I got very discouraged and gave up learning about investing. Now years later Kmart came out of bankruptcy and made huge gains. If I remember correctly you could have bought it for around five dollars a share and sold for well past $100 in less than a year and a half. So when I first got the Kmart word it was out of season and that’s what discouraged me, but the word came to pass.

So as of now I’ve never made any money, I’ve actually lost due to the same timing issue. But I am encouraged to know that those reoccurring dreams did come to pass and even though I consider myself still the amateur in timing and I still make short-term mistakes, I figure it’s just part of the learning process. On the bright side the market seems to be a good training tool for the prophetic because your mistakes and victories are in plain sight and you have to accept what happened. That’s important because people have a tendency to not have a clear measuring device for accuracy in this type of prophetic ministry.

For me it’s just a voice in the background guiding your thoughts, it can be a recording of yourself or someone guiding you or praying over you. My personal belief is that prayer is more for your benefit than God’s benefit. It’s a way for us to concentrate. Guided meditations can be used to deepen your attention to anything you use them for. This is especially good for those of us trying to hear from God about a certain thing because it keeps our minds from wandering. Sometimes I’ll make a recording of a prayer or journey to a certain place or spiritual destination and then set the recording on repeat allowing myself to drift in and out of sleep. This deepens your concentration allowing you to receive more of the benefits of prayer.

This works really well if you’re trying to overcome an obstacle in your life, you can change the meditation technique as you need to until the obstacle or stronghold is dealt with.

Reocurring vision of market pattern

Ever since late summer to fall of last year I’ve had repeated dreams where I saw this type of pattern forming in the market. I’m not sure when it’s coming but it looks like there’s going to be a chance to make really good gains especially for those of us who haven’t participated in this rally that we’ve had since March of 2009.

They just don’t get it, a lot of charismatic churches and those waiting for a great revival just don’t get what it means to provide good ministry every step of the way. They actually think that the size of their building has something to do with whether God will send them revival or not. It makes no sense for the leaders and elders to tell us from the pulpit that we have to finish all these projects and building programs to prepare because God is coming. I thought God was all around us. I didn’t know God was waiting for us to get all the drywall up or pave a parking lot. But that’s how it is in many supposedly Holy Spirit filled churches today. They always need more money and work out of people to prepare and I’m not talking about spiritual work or development. It’s about money and free labor in a lot of situations.

So why would the church be dangling a carrot in front of us saying that at the end of all this work God is there and revival will come, why would they say that? I say they’re trying to buy time and distracting people with work is a trusted method of keeping people from seeking God and finding out the truth of their real spiritual condition. As long as revival is over the next hill the hungrier members of the church will continue to pay the bills when nothing is happening. This is just one way the church gets money out of people while they do basically nothing but strategize how they’re going to pay next month’s bills. I think most churches need to get connected with good ministries that are living a powerful life now and provide the sheep with good ministry today rather than stringing them along with promises of what tomorrow will bring.
